More Than Words – May 2016 Challenge

Hi everybody!

This months challenge in «MORE THAN WORDS» is the word MOMENT and the creative challenge is all about CLOCKS.

More Than Words

The moment that I’ve chosen is one from my honeymoon. We went to the island of Madeira, a tropical island in the Atlantic Ocean. The statue is called «GONE WITH THE WIND» and is made of bronze.

It’s in the tropical gardens of the Mountain Palace and as soon as I saw them I couldn’t resist joining them for a dance and looking at the photo it reminded me of the phrase from one of my favorite poems,

DANCE like nobody’s watching,

LOVE like you’ve never been hurt,

SING like nobody is listening,

LIVE like it’s heaven on earth.

I’ve used a lot of texture paste on the background with micro beads, glass glitter, cheese cloth and embossing powder.

I’ve colored the canvas with sprays, stamps and splashes.

For decoration, of course, I’ve used clocks, chipboards, flowers, butterflies…

Hola a todos, de nuevo me presento a un nuevo reto del blog MORE THAN WORDS.

Este mes consiste en utilizar relojes y la palabra «momento».

He utilizado una foto de mi luna de miel en Madeira (Portugal). Me encanta esta figura porque en cuanto la vi no pude resistirme a bailar con ellas y mirando ahora la imagen me recuerda a uno de mis poemas favoritos:

BAILA cuando nadie te ve,

AMA como si no te hubieran dañado,

CANTA como si nadie te oyera,

VIVE como si el cielo estuviera en la tierra.
